The Rotary 400 HV can be run in either automatic or manual levelling modes. In automatic mode the beam will emit horizontally and vertically. In manual mode the beams can be set at any angle from o through to 90 degrees in both planes allowing you to create complex run off slopes and roof lines

The scan mode allows you to restrict the angle of scan between 0, 10, 45, 90 and 180 degrees. This will make the beam more visible to the human eye

The remote control relies on infra-red signals and has a range of up to 20m. The remote control must have line of sight to the detector on the Rotary 400 HV so that it can work effectively

The principle use for the laser detector is to ensure the beam is visible in brightly lit situations or at distance where it may not possible to see the beam

The detector operates by turning the unit on and placing it in the approximate level of the laser beam. Moving the detector up and down will set off an audible alarm, fast beeps for too low, slow beeps for too high and continuous for in line. The alarm can be turned off if required

If using the Rotary 400 HV as a surveying level then we recommend attaching the laser detector to a laser detector pole. Please search ADA A00230 telescopic levelling staff
